Composia fidelissima
Composia fidelissima
This stunning tiger moth, native to southern Florida and some of the Caribbean islands, breeds pretty much continuously. It is diurnal (flies during daylight hours). The specimen directly below the Haploa clymene is not C. fidelissima. It is Phaloesia saucia, the Saucy Beauty, native to the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
