for having the longest tails of any papilionid here AND the most exotic
appearance.
Though the spring brood specimens are a welcome sight; it is the later
summer brood ones with their much longer tails (fully 2 in.+) which
"steal the show".
It really is surprising how easy it is to lose sight of one in a clover field
as the color/pattern break-up the butterflies appearance. Effectively,
allowing them to hide in plain sight.
