Please help me identify this insect

Please help me identify this insect

I rescued this insect from drowning in a bucket, placed there so it could dry, but I don’t know what it is, I live in Durango, Mexico, thanks!

It's a giant mesquite bug of the genus Thasus, though I'm not sure which species -

It appears to be Thasus gigas -
