you think. Oftentimes, only a few of the most
commonly encountered species in the hobby are
pictured or reared. So, when I run across a species
which is new to me (and fantastic looking) I like
for others to be aware of it and likewise enjoy it.
A species which was acquired by me a little while
ago and NOT posted is this one: Rothschildia hopferi
from Brazil.

Of coarse, those who do enjoy moths to an extent
will be very familiar with the Rothscildia genus of
South America and its many varied and "windowed"
species.
Items from Brazil (these days) are only sporatically
seen/encountered on the modern day market or in
private collections. Thus, they garner a lot of attention
when they become available for sale.
