A very nice post Paul ! 🎉☺️

As always, great specimens.

That papilio is indeed a truly superb mimic. Yet, they all offer "reasonably" good likenesses to the model.

Appreciate your efforts Paul and it is nice again to see some of your self caught treasures... 👏😎

First picture
Model.Amauris niavus dominicans.Tanzania
Mimic. Papilio dardanus tibullus form hippocoonides female. Malawi

Second picture
First row. Models. A pair of Parantica tityoides
Second row. Mimics. A pair of Elymnias ceryx ceryxoides.
All from Mount Dempo, Sumatra

Third picture
Top picture. Model. Parantica albata. Sumatra
Mimic. Elymnias ceryx ceryx. Java
The specimen of P albata in my collection is subspecies adustata from Sumatra. The nominate subspecies is a closer match still to E ceryx ceryx from pictures I have seen so I am almost certain this is the model.
