Some tropical Burnet moths in my collection.
Two male Eterusia repleta Thailand
A male Amesia sanguiflua from Viet Nam & a male Erasmia pulchella from India
A pair of Eterusia repleta from Laos

Here is an amazingly diverse and beautiful group.
Some years ago I started picking these up but, once I had seven or eight of the more commonly encountered species I had to stop myself and take a breath; before I made any deeper a plunge into them.

Seemed like they were just more than I could sensibly keep up with so I had to pull the stops on continued involvement. So that the temptation would not come back I ended up trading what I had for three nice papilio's.

A tough choice but, a sensible one I had to settle with. Still love seeing them though !

Don't have that many of these myself. Moths in general only form about five percent of my collection

Those are all spectacular. Wish I had some, but I don't. At least I can enjoy seeing your specimens.
