A very clean (free of scratches) example of
this powdery-white species. Example is from
Mera, Ecuador.
Not easy to find in this condition....

Morpho species look superb, but it is such a pity that sellers do not supply the specimen abdomens separately so that they can be degreased and reattached after spreading. To me the lack of an abdomen is aesthetically ugly, and also they cannot be used for genitalia preparations.

That's a wonderful specimen. It is indeed hard to find perfect. I don't possess one !!
