Charaxes dowsetti
A pair of Charaxes dowsetti from Malawi finally got a female to go with my male
Re: Charaxes dowsetti
That is a very beautiful species/pair indeed colin12303.

Welcome to our forum if no one has already said so.

My personal favorites among the Charaxes have always been the species with the short /sharp tails.
Thank you for sharing such a delightful species with us.
If you happen to have any others of special notoriety, rarity, or beauty then it would be nice to see them as well if you have the time.

Re: Charaxes dowsetti
Hello again Colin,
I don't have any particulars when it comes to the short-tailed species of Charaxes. I like them all common or not.
While it could be said that most of the expensive species seem to lack tails; The ones I find more appealing are those species with the short stubby tails.
