Thaumantis klugius lucipor & T. klugius candika

Post by daveuk »

T. klugius lucipor is from Malaysia & T klugius candika is from Sumatra. I don't have a female of T klugius candika.
A wonderful species. Very hard to obtain now & always almost impossible to get in mint condition.

Amazing!

I've looked around rather extensively for some years now, but have never been able to obtain T. klugius. In fact, I don't yet have any specimens of Thaumantis. However, I do have Thauria aliris -

and Zeuxidia aurelius -

The nominate T aliris still eludes me.
I do have a couple of pairs of T aliris pseudaliris from Malaysia.
Here also are a pair of Zeuxidia sibulana medicieloi from Leyte in the Philippines
