Types of bumblebees
I'm trying to identify which types of bumblebees I have here. All of these pictures were taken this week in my yard in Green Bay, WI. I'm really wondering if the third picture is a rusty patched bumblebee. I do see a little brown between the wings. If necessary, I have a few more pics of that one.

Spiderlike thing, but I only see six legs...
This thing was very small, only about a centimeter across. I thought it was a spider, but I only see six legs. Spotted today in Green Bay, WI.

I think we startled this little guy in the mulch of my flowerbed. It jumped several times, so I have a picture of the topside and the bottomside. Green Bay, WI a few days ago.

Re: Black Caterpillar ID
Nice to see an actual inquiry about an insect here.
Probably a moth larva, perhaps a Noctuid or Geometrid, assuming I spelled those correctly from memory. Typically, larva don't leave host plants-
(and it may not have been the maple), until they are ready to pupate, hence the dark color ...

Unknown bugs in the currant bushes

These two pictures are of the same bug. Its actual size is less than a centimeter (maybe 1/2 to 3/4 cm)There have been quite a few of them in my currant bushes, although they don't seem to be doing any harm. These photos were taken in Green Bay, WI yesterday. Any idea ...
