Some members may find this website by Brennen Dyer, the collection manager at the Bohart Museum, U.C. Davis, of interest. From the homepage:

"This site is designed for tutorials and other kinds of guides, and the navigation reflects that and is split into two groups. The first is "Buildables", which has guides for making physical and reusable things, like drawers, cabinets, or pinning blocks. The second is for shorter, digital, or less involved projects. The About page has short profiles of the people who have helped make this site possible along with a contact form."

Thanks so much for sharing this site.... this is an excellent guide to building drawers (easily adaptable to Cornell drawer dimensions) &, especially spreading boards, in a clearly illustrated step by step process that this old dog can follow & even learn a few new tips)!! :D

Thank you so much for sharing this here. The instructions are really good and helpful for learning everything necessary to make a drawer.

This was posted before with the link to build your own drawers. The instructions are pretty good. They do fail to show you how to properly glue up the corners. I built 5 drawers out of poplar and they turned out pretty good. I couldn't find the corner staples so I made splines to strengthen the corners and it also makes them look nicer.
