Trehopr1,

Wingspan would help Dave. I seem to remember that there is a larger and a smaller 'yellow' species in Kachin.

Adam.

Hi Adam,
On the previous page of this thread I did make mention
of the outspread forewings being 92mm. across (at the
widest point).

Dave in turn mentioned that he would have to measure
his 2 pictured specimens at a later point.

Here is that Myanmar Stichopthalma sp.(again) which
I have just freshly removed from the spreading board.
So, now you can see all the details in it.

I am also providing a underside view in case this helps
much more in a definitive I.D.

Data label shown in my previous post.

Thank you so much as it seems you are our resident
specialist on this wonderful group !
Hello Trehopr.
I am almost certain that is Stichophthalma howqua. A beautiful specimen but a puzzle. I think I have mentioned before that howqua is not listed as occurring in Myanmar.

Here are those two specimens again Trehopr.
The smaller one is S neumogeni & the larger one S sparta evansii. The former from China. The latter from Myanmar. I don't have any photos of Stichophthalma sparta nominate so have no idea how it differes from S sparta evansii
