The recent thread on catocala ilia forms inspired me to add a few more catocala forms. Whether forms are scientifically recognized or not, I don't care, I find it easier to differentiate among the species when there are recognized forms.

I think to include form name on the label is fine as long as it is note it, if it isn’t one maybe confused that it might be ssp.name.

Love all the photos and various forms which you have collected of each species ! πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

I feel just as you do about the importance of being able to differentiate complex species into respective populations.

Some forms are indeed seldom encountered and it's quite the surprise (treat) to finally catch one.

If you have others to show us I would love to see them. Thank you very much for sharing with us and in continuing this fascinating topic ! πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ
