Very nice! Here's a photo of D. cyane, commonly known as the Mexican emperor (although its range extends as far south as Argentina) -

Sorry not worked out how to do these "quotes" properly. That's a lovely picture of D cyane. Also have that in my collection. Your photo shows off well one of the more beautiful characteristics of this genus. The wonderful jade green proboscis. Couple of pictures I took with my phone of a pristine D agathina vacuna feeding from sweat on my hand at Iguazu falls, Misiones, Argentina in August 2018.

Three old specimens dating from the 1980's of Doxocopa lavinia. Top two pictures are form ornata from Peru & Ecuador & the bottom is form chlorotaenia from Peru
