Post by k song »

I'd like to ask a question about subspecies of Parnassius nomion. It was collected from Menyuan County, Qinghai Province, China.I think it might be P nomion epahoides Bryk & Eisner,1938.What do you think? Please tell me your opinion.See the attachment for specific pictures

I think these should be ssp. pax Bryk & Eisner, 1934 rather than epaphoides.

Adam.

This species comes from two different habitats. The altitude of the second producing area is higher, and the wingspan is smaller than that of the first producing area.
