I have an earlier catalogue from that company, but it only lists the species that were available. No pictures. The owner of the company, Terry Thomas, was busted for importing illegal species. The company was sold to the Lewallen brothers (Rod & Greg), who later sold it to Bioquip.

Note: it was Terry
Taylor, not Thomas. Indeed, I do vaguely remember reading something about him getting into trouble for (if I recall correctly) illegally importing some butterflies from Mexico(?), years ago.

Some fantastic memories looking at these catalogues!
Does anyone remember Mrs Chiang P Tzu from Taiwan? Her catalogue claimed she had a million specimens for sale!
Does anyone have a pdf of Jerry Scholomer’s catalogue from the early ‘70s they can send me? I think he lived in Illinois. He sold not just butterflies and beetles but snakes and other reptiles as well. He had Ornithoptera meridionalis for $850/pair. I was a teenager back then and spent countless hours reading his catalogue!

Why?
The commercial market was awash with those species in the 1990s. The Ornithoptera were, and still are, coming in with CITES. The African species import topped out in the 1960s, then dropped as Africa descended into independent chaos, but was still very strong in the 1990s.
Papilio hermeli wasn't even proposed to be controlled by CITES until 2019.
