Batesia hypochlora

A few nice photos of the monotypic species Batesia hypochlora, one of the many beautiful, mid-sized nymphalids of the American tropics. Until rather recently, I wasn't particularly aware of just how great the diversity of Nymphalidae is in Central / South America, and I'm still learning of many species that I'd not previously ever heard of.
