My daughter and I were up on Cottonwood Pass, Colorado in July and filmed a little so I made a short video of the area. Cottonwood Pass is best known to Lepidopterists because of Oeneis tagyete, an arctic butterfly first discovered in Colorado on Cottonwood Pass by Bernard Rotger in 1941.

Hope you enjoy my goofy videos!

I enjoy your videos! Wish there were more. Sure is beautiful there. LOL I went all the way up to 3200' this summer.

I don't know how you do it, even with two people. I've taken a few videos which turned out well, but it's EITHER do the field work OR take video. Then the editing, I can't imagine how many hours you two put into editing each video.

I enjoy your videos also. I'd like to see one on collecting Colorado Hairstreaks (Hypaurotis crysalus).

I actually have a video where I collect the Colorado Hairstreak! I'll post it here on the forum from my YouTube channel.
