Polyura galaxia florensis

A very large Polyura from Flores Island Indonesia. The female is largest Polyura I have in my collection.

It's hard to tell size from photos without a scale. What's the wingspan of your female?

That is a superb species Dave which I happen to have picked up myself recently !

I was going to post a picture of my pair but, you beat me to it. Tough lately to have time for photography. I'll just have to post mine when time allows and the female is huge on this species.

I have taken a picture of the same pair with a ruler placed under them to give you an idea of size.

Here is a picture dave of my pair of
P. galaxia florensis

The wingspan of my (female) is 97mm
(tip to tip).
