It seems we need more beetle pictures in the "sea of Leps", here are some lifer Cerambycidae I have taken this year.

Mike, that Mallodon dasystomus is really cool. Looks just like the monsters from South America and South Pacific, but in a tiny package.

The field of view for the magnified individuals is about 20 mm

I am wondering if these are happenstance captures by you whilst in the field looking for butterflies or do you actively black light for these as they appear to be a side interest of yours.

I actively blacklight which accounts for most but a few were from sweeping or just randomly seeing something while out and about.
