Another recent and unusual find to see in any collection
these days is the very "different" and incomparable (black)
Troides species ---Troides dohertyi. It is the namesake of a
famous Aurelian collector/adventurer and is seldom seen
these days in private hands.
It is a wonderful species to behold and the male (in particular)
is of a pitch black color only few other butterflies can match.
