A lesser seen Stichopthalma sp.

Recently, I encountered this unusually diffrent species
of Stichopthalma in a collection being parted out. I've
seen my share of the "usual" species in collections over
my years and yet never encountered this one.

For your viewing pleasure I took pictures recto/verso
in case someone should have a particular interest or
knowledge of the species. It remains the smallest sp.
of any I've ever seen !

Extremely rare in collections. I have one very old male from India with a good chunk out of one forewing. This is a great specimen. The population on Hainan Island in China a recent discovery I believe. Before this it was only known from India.
