Add me to the list of people who have been ripped off by Matthew Nochisaki. Paid him $40 on May 19 for some Hyalophora cecropia eggs, and he's been stringing me along ever since. He's traveling, or he sold too many eggs and is waiting for the next batch to be laid, or his family will handle it, or the eggs should arrive this coming weekend - the list is endless. And now he's gone silent. If only I had googled him before I sent him money. At this point, I'm not even going to apologize or withdraw my post if the eggs show up. If you advertise that you have stock, you ship it within a couple days of receiving payment. Period. (Edit: Last night, after I posted in numerous places about getting ripped off by this guy, he refunded me. With a note saying "Delete the posts as you have been refunded". Needless to say, I'm not deleting the posts. But I'm happy to disclose that he finally paid me back.

That guy is a thorn in the side of entomologists. Some day he’s going to get himself in trouble.

I think I was instrumental in his being banned from InsectNet, he must be operating from some other platform or persona.
Don't worry, you won't get anything to apologize for, luckily for me, I used goods and services and was able to retrieve my money.
The guy is knowledgable, he had me going,until he didn't.
To me, these things are just inexplicable, it has to be apathy, because I don't think you can retire fleecing people for moth eggs.

I am sure some people have stop collecting, raising moth because of bad experience with these thieves.

I do think he is knowledgeable. He is pretty active on FB and I think that’s where he gets a lot of customers. Lots of newbies on FB too.
