A question of understanding regarding the taxonomy:
If a species is assigned to a new genus after revision or the genus is renamed, do all .ssp of this species also receive the new genus name?

Yes. Subspecies are just a subset of a species, species are a subset of a genus, and genera are a subset of a family. Any changes made at any level carry on down the chain.

If someone buys your car, they get all the individual “sub-car” components. If the seats belong to the car, they now belong to the new owner.
