Strategus mormon

Found this guy last night at a gas station in east TX. It's only the 3rd specimen of this species I've ever collected, and the first male. Horns on S. mormon are minimal in comparison to other Strategus.

Nice find! I have a few (4) from Cleveland County, Oklahoma. Glad to see some coleops posted!

Always cool to see a low-catch specimen. And yes, Coleoptera as well.
