That's a beautiful Charaxes that I've not yet been able to obtain, even though it's not "rare", and has a rather wide distribution across eastern and southern Africa.

That is a gem of a species indeed !

I'll have to keep an eye out for it....

I was lucky enough to find a great dealer with contacts all over the world in the early 1980s. I obtained some wonderful specimens over time from him including these.
