My quick thoughts on these IDs:

Colotis 1 & 2 : Colotis calais
Colotis 3: Colotis evagore antigone
Colotis 4: Colotis antevippe
Colotis 5: Colotis evagore antigone (I believe)
Colotis 6: Colotis euippe
Colotis 7: Colotis antevippe
Colotis 8: Colotis evagore antigone (I believe)

Thanks a lot Cabintom. I have one more Colotis (could be a pair of Colotis doubledayi) on the spreading board at the moment. I will be back with those in a couple of weeks.

I have a few Lycaenidae in terrible condition. More like bits and pieces but would like to get an ID on them if possible.

We had a lot of these flying high up in a fig tree. A very beautiful butterfly but very hard to catch.
Finally managed this male almost falling down from the balcony on the second floor.

Sorry for the poor picture and specimen ...

Leptotes are in the pirithous complex. You'd need to dissect to know which species.

Not Zizula hylax but rather Zizeeria knysna.

The last 2 are correct.

I suspect this can be a pair of Colotis doubledayi. A rare species confined to the dry areas in southwest africa, from northern Angola to Namibia and most northern part of South Africa.
