This is not a Parides , it is a Papilio (Heraclides ) belonging to the anchiasiades group, and is probably that species.
Adam.

P. anchisiades occasionally strays into the U.S. from Mexico. I once saw one nectaring in the flower garden at Sea World in San Antonio, TX. Unfortunately I had no net, but I doubt that collecting is allowed in that park anyway.

If it is also from Peru then it must be P. anchisiades , as other species in the group from there look different on the upperside, but if it comes from Central America it may be another species.
Adam.
