The Kyushu University Museum (Japan) has digitalized its entomology collection.
I have checked their Delias collection and there are some extremely rare specimens (nigropunctata, neeltje, female lytaea...)
Their Agrias/Prepona collection is rather poor though.

Here is the link : http://db.museum.kyushu-u.ac.jp/entomology/
Just enter the genus you want to see in the Search bar.

It may help some of you in your research.

Nice box photos, but they aren't much use without any specimen data.

At least now we know what they have and can ask for the data of some specific specimens.
I will for few of their Delias.

I'd rather enjoy just looking at the drawer photo's.
The collection itself is fabulous and everything is nicely spaced and easy to see.
I know I will never run across some of the stuff pictured and yet it is amazing what some collectors are able to accomplish and enjoy in their lifetime.

My Japanese is a bit rusty. The specimens are fantastic, I like the following best
http://db.museum.kyushu-u.ac.jp/entomol ... l=9&it=394
But Adam is right, without names it's not good for identification. Since my Japanese is so bad, I can't see if there's a listing of the names anywhere on the page, or at least a listing.
But a great picture book it certainly is.

My Chrome browser gives me the option to translate the page, and there are no names or data, except
Specimen name Insects of male and female type (ginan morph)

At the top of the translated version, there's a <Specimen List> tab which gives you a list of taxa and corresponding drawer. but a lot are only listed to genus. Not terribly useful.
