I use moth ball in packets, the chemical is p-Dichlorobenzene, I've been using it in my cases for years, albeit I don't have a lot of cases, and even
though they are tight fitting lids, a certain amount of odor is evident in the room.
I can't speak as to causes of any malady, people get sick from all kinds of things that have no discernable cause, we just experienced this
eventuality last year with a family member coming down with a rare cancer, only about 400 people a year get it, and nobody knows how. He worked in
a laser facility with chemicals, but still no cause, so, I take people at their word as to how they feel but the reality is that things happen that
the causes of are never known.
