Phoebis argante
Phoebis argante
A specimen I acquired in the mid 1980s from Peru with pink reflections on all four wings. Difficult to photograph.
I don't know if this is a seasonal form. Presume it could be. Unusual anyway & I have not seen another one since I got this.

Re: Phoebis argante
You certainly have some unusual and difficult to obtain specimens. How long have you been collecting?
Re: Phoebis argante
I started collecting tropical butterflies in the early 1980s .As I mentioned in another thread I have never specialised so the collection built up over the years is an eclectic one for want of a better word.
