Nice, I’ve actually gotten all but P. astylus in one night before. There’s a spot in AZ where you can get S. jamaicensis, saliceti, and ceryisi as well as P. excaecata and P. myops sympatrically, although P. excaecata is rare there. The closely related Pachysphinx occidentalis is also present there. Somewhat recently the Smerinthus were revised and S. ceryisi was broken up into several species, including S. opthamalica, S. astarte, and S. ceryisi.

Evra, where in AZ can you catch them all? I was unaware that Smerinthus had been revised. Now I have to figure out what I have and what I need to look for. Thanks for the info.
