In February the eminent US lepidopterist Paul Opler (CSU Fort Collins, Colorado) lost his battle with cancer. His obituary and list of publications (written by his wife and Dr. Frank-Thorsten Krell) was just published in the program and abstract volume of the 71st Annual Meeting of the Lepidopterists' Society which starts today in Billings, Montana, and is available here:
