Tiny caterpillars hatched
Tiny caterpillars hatched
These eggs have recently hatched on our pussy willow tree, they’re really tiny caterpillar things. Anyone know what they are? Thanks!

Re: Tiny caterpillars hatched
Where in the World are you? That would really help someone to identify them.
I am not a moth expert by any means, but from the blurry larva in the photo I suspect these could belong to family Notodontidae.
If you can get a better photo of a larva in a while, as well as telling us the area (e.g. Country or State if in the US) you found these it would help. It may be necessary to rear them to final instar before they can be identified more accurately, or perhaps even to adult.
Adam.
