A curious Ad of exquisite character

Some 8 years ago I found this curious Ad in a
copy of the Illustrated London news (circa 1954).

Wonderful choice to pitch sales....

I love the painting. It puts you right in the birdwing habitat. I hope the habitat is still there.

Never get tired of looking at O. Alexandrae, that would make a great wall poster.
