Brahmaea moths have some of the most intricate patterns of any lep on the planet.
Here is one example.

Brahmaea hearseyi
Here are two males: light form and more common darker form below
Both collected in Thailand, Phrae Province, Wang Chin at light.

Those are some mighty nice (self-collected) examples Paul ! You always seem to find such nice examples in your field work. 🎉👍

Did you happen to pick up any of the nice day flying moths present there in Thailand and Laos ? If you did could you show us some of them ?

Don't have many moths in my collection but for this beautiful genus I make room.
A couple of unidentified specimens from Nepal.
Got them at an entomological show in 2011.

Nice looking moths, the larva are as interesting, They're on my breeding want list.

Yes, I collected some day flying moths in both countries.
I will post some photos when I get around to take them.
