One heck' of a Papilio machaon

Here and there "stunners" like this show up
on the market. You may now allow your lower
jaw to hit the ground....

No, I'm not rubbing this in. It is not mine !
But, what a honey of a specimen !!

I will see what I can find out Adam. Apologies for not posting a picture of the data but, I saw this striking bauble whilst looking over a friend's collection. My time frame for being there was limited so I kept moving to get pictures of species I've only seen in books.

I did ask my friend in passing if it was one of those chemically induced specimens and he said no it had been bred that way !

I will look into securing the data from it.

I'm glad you liked it and when I saw it in his collection I immediately thought of you; as you have shown some marvelous personal holdings that you have of the species.

Hey Adam,

Well, here's a photo of that little honey (with the data).
I liked it so much it now resides as my latest acquisition
to my collection !
