Graphium meeki inexpectatum

Post by Trehopr1 »

One of the apex species of the Graphium
genus in terms of collectability, size, and
general lack of presence in private collections.

Not I. They're out there; a bunch were imported to USA about five years ago and sold for $400 ea.

Here's the description of Gmi, with the difference from nominate cited. https://www.floridamuseum.ufl.edu/wp-co ... AME065.pdf

When I think of meeki and "apex" I'd agree, but because it's takes a hearty soul to go find them. As baubles, they're available now for $1500, which is on the low end for a collectible firearm, and peanuts compared to a classic Chevy.
