How to see "new threads" only ?

A member emailed me that question.
To see "new threads" or "unread threads", click on the "Quick links" button in the header of this forum and select which kind of threads you want to see.

On mobile, it is feasible too, just click on the little button with 3 horizontal bars (at the left of the FAQ button).

Kind of disappointed with the new layout of this forum.
Can’t see new post unless specifically enter thread. I’m already missing a lot and I won’t bother to participate. I suppose it’s easier if one target specific subject but for everyday browsing what’s new it is no no, just my thoughts

If you click Quick Links and select Active Topics it's the same thing as Newest Threads on the old board.

I agree that "the recent posts" function of the Proboards forum was useful. I will see if a coder can work on that for us on phpbb.
And I would add that I see 10x more topics per day than before, some historic members back and very happy Insectnet members... I am everything but "disappointed".

Thank you Olivier & all the other moderators. You have done a very good job with this forum. I am finding it easy to use. For a technophobe like me that is really something!! Good to see some old contacts on here. Sad that some are no longer with us.

And your collection is amazing, full of very interesting specimens that most collectors miss because they don't belong to popular genera. Very interesting !

Thank you Olivier. Very kind of you to say so. I have always found it very difficult to specialise despite being advised to by entomologists & lepidopterists in print & in person. The result is an eclectic collection amassed over the years. For want of a better word!
