My female A. mylitta measures at 152mm. The female A. youngi measures at 190mm.

Lovely Chris. The top picture is actually two males. The top specimen is a male C mars dohertyi from Sulawesi & the bottom specimen is a male C mars madensis from Buru. The females of both subspecies have white banded forewings. The female C mars dohertyi also has an outer chestnut band on the ...

I think that "electric" green male is an aberration. I've never seen one quite like that anywhere this side of the pond ! I think it may be a first 'spring' generation specimen. Probably it is distinctly smaller too. Adam. Adam, It is actually the same size as the other two specimens.
