You should ! French Guiana is very collector friendly with a lot of entomological lodges. People speaks English and French and it is rather safe for an Amazonian area. And you don't need any collector permit from the French Guiana side (just a custom declaration to fill online before arrival). There...

To give you a scale, this Asilidae was a monster : around 4 cm in length!

I would be happy to have an identification of the 2 species if anyone can help or know who could help.
