Yes, these hybrids are now mass-produced in Peruvian farms and now cause some issue to people studying Agrias . - Some "new" taxa are in fact "farmed hybrids" or "farmed forms : a recent example is Agrias hewitsonius elata , Séraphin 2016 : https://agrias-butterflies.com/agr...

I have not in mind any example for "political" reasons.

For "financial" reasons, I am sure most minor museums with no more curator can't preserve well their collection and they have no other choice than discarding the collection, before or after a dermestidae invasion ...

As far as I know, no English translation is planned. This said, with the distribution maps and plates being with latin names, the book is very useful even for non-French speakers to understand Agrias distribution and recognize the various forms. You can see some page examples in the InsectNet Market...

Joachim, Don't use sugar, it can cause problems in the butterfly gut. Mix 10% honey solution and add a tiny amount of salt. I assume you will want to hand feed the butterflies, rather than them flying around in a 'flight cage' or greenhouse. If so, prepare a small container with honey solution soak...

The US legislation is sometimes totally crazy...
Here in Europe, an amateur collector doesn't need any import permits for non-protected specimens.

The InsectNet Marketplace is down. The issue comes from our marketplace software supplier Ilance. As their own website ilance.com is down, I guess they have a serious issue... Let's hope they fix it asap and answer my voice messages (I guess they receive tons of messages today...) I will keep you in...
