Re: Utetheisa

I have a genuine British specimen of this caught by a famous collector around 1903, one of the very few in existence.

Re: Time to sell

First up for the chop will be these, papilio lampsacus, hebomoia leucippe detanni charaxes fournierae female and the super rare cethosia cydippe antoni. I will sell the high end stuff first, the rest later but I underestimated the size of the task.

Re: Time to sell

Many thanks. I'm not selling everything, just getting it to a size that I can manage with my infirmities and working full time, it will take serious persuasion to get me to part with the stuff from Meek, Fruhstorfer, Pratt, Leech, Doherty etc but I'm open to offers.

Time to sell

Over the coming months I will be selling off the vast majority of my extensive collection. A lot of it will be going on ebay but if any member...

Signing out

After a devastating day I've decided that I don't have the heart to continue in the hobby. After going through every drawer and case today adding paradichlorobenzine I discovered a dermestid infestation in just about every box with some devastating losses that can't be replaced. I've decided to get ...

Re: The silence....

I don't think that this is true. A while ago I started a new thread that was directed at exactly that, a thread about specimens that you have caught or bred yourself, it received exactly 0 replies. As an avid field collector and a "bauble " collector I find the lack of participation compar...

The lots of 5 were not expensive, $30 per lot if memory serves but it soon dried up, nowhere to be seen now.
