the real question is how to safely remove glue from specimens...

I got plenty of old material with botched antenae repairs that just look terrible. Usually just a massife drop of glue on the head with antenae glued whenever they dropped on the glue. It does not disolve in water, maybe acetone could ...

whole EU has now uniformed customs system. Every single parcel from an non EU country has to go through customs and if it is not a gift you will have to pay...

as far as I am concered, authors caught them by themselves. Also recently I saw available male for sale and scales look ok to me.

I am still waiting for a live picture of a fresh niclasi to change my mind.

You will have to wait for ever, I suspect. The same author described form 'niclasi' in 3 different subspecies of Ornithoptera victoriae , but strangely no blue specimens were ever seen back in the old days.

is there a natural form niclasi? Or is just completely fabricated?
