Re: Journalists- total morons
We recently had a basically good article in a regional daily newspaper here in Germany about insect decline, specifically about butterflies, their way of life, and so on. But here, we have some blues (Lycaenidae) that live biotically in ant nests. This was mentioned, but the fecal pellets of the ...

Hello!
I have read here that there are these wasps that you can put in a butterfly box and that they eat the larvae and eggs of the beloved pests. And everything is dead. Then they die and you have peace of mind. I have now found two boxes. Where some folds were infested.

Hello,
I had a problem and was thinking about
something that perhaps many of you have.
A box of butterflies was almost completely destroyed by bacon beetles (I hadn't looked for a long time). Luckily no valuable things.
What struck me was that 2 very old butterflies from 1976 or 1977 were totally ...

Hello,
I actually bought the butterfly by mistake, I bid 1 Eur and it came with the other shipment. However, Adam recognized the label and whose collection the butterfly came from, however it was sold.
Unfortunately I couldn't find the entry, so Adam, do you remember?

Paul, it was a joke ! I always threw the bullets at the moths, but scored few hits. I now use darts, the hit rate is better!

Hello,
thank you very much for the detailed answer.
Unfortunately it does not help me, I live in a small apartment and we need the freezer as well as the oven. Besides, my wife will beat me up if I "abuse" it for such purposes.
So the only option is to put such a box in the oven for 20-30 minutes ...

Price is very low.
