It definitely depends on exactly how rural. Most places should be fine and accessible to me, I'd have to see case-by-case. I've done high elevation collecting before so elevation isn't a drawback.

In Upstate NY, Finger Lakes the springs of both 2021 and 2022 were cold and wet, so MV and BLB at night were poor; so much so that in 2022 typically common species were not observed at all.
