I'd try looking at where inaturalist records are in June.
Or try reaching out to Norbert Kondla who is a local collector. You can find his info on inaturalist, he post a lot of specimens.

It's a moth in the family Geometridae. An upperside view would be easier for providing an ID but maybe something like Rheumaptera hastata.

We don't have fireflies here in the Pacific Northwest, I'm not sure why either, Indiana didn't seem all that different... The bright form is the male and dusky form the female. Generally these spread north through Colorado east of the continental divide and can be regular at some spots along with Eurema mexicana. One year was extra big where they seemed everywhere on both sides of the divide.
