I don´t have problems when I make an exchange or If I buy butterflies, the thing is that when I receive a parcel from outside the EU I have to pay taxes even if the butterflies come with no commercial value.
Also I have to say that I have not problems to send or to receive lepidoptera from Russia .

Re: old specimen Armandia lidderdaleii
Now you have to pay for everything that comes from outside the EU, even if it comes as gift that It supposes that doesn't have a commercial value. Ask your seller to put a €10 value. The Vat will be 2 euros and most of the time they don't bother claiming it. If no value is entered (gift), then they...

Re: Lycaenid species in Spain
Those from Huesca and Burgos are Polyommatus dolus ssp. Ainsae.
From Teruel you have Polyommatus fabressei.
The two Pseudophilotes are panoptes.
The one from Granada I think that is Lysandra dorylas

Re: Zygaena ignifera
This is a moth, one of the most famous of the Spanish Lepidoptera, this two were collected in Chodos (Castellón)in the end of july/2008.
They only fly in the Southeast and part of the Ibéric Mountains.
I remember how happy I was when at first I saw them, only 1 hour by car from my home
